Tävo gloves use a special fabric in the fingertips that allows you to use your iPod or iPhone without taking off your gloves.
I have spent several cold mornings equipped with Tävo gloves and my iPhone. The gloves are warm enough for the morning commute, but also thin enough to maintain finger dexterity. My initial concern was their ability to hit the right spot. But after a day of use, I found myself quickly and naturally adapting to using the seam of the fingertip, which acts as a stylus of sorts, for remarkable accuracy. I had no problem scrolling through playlists or picking songs. Typing takes a little getting used to, but it's certainly possible—and definitely better than using your tongue or nose!
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the Tävo gloves. They performed as promised, and the plain black design doesn’t look out of place amongst winter apparel.
Unfortunately no more Small Tavo gloves will be available until November 2010.
