The Small Tree PXG1 server card provides the most cost effective way to add performance features such as jumbo frames, flow control and VLAN support to your Mac system. Use the PXG1 card to get an immediate performance increase on large transfers with jumbo frames or to add another network connection to your system. The PXG1 Gigabit Ethernet port will support Mac OS X's built-in link aggregation software in combination with the internal Gigabit Ethernet ports of the system. The PXG1 card and will transparently load balance among all linked Ethernet ports, and seamlessly fail over if one or more ports or cables become disabled. Must be using OS X 10.4.11 or later.
