The VTrak x30 Series Expansion Chassis populated with 16 2TB 7200-rpm SATA drives (32TB raw capacity) provides expanded storage and performance to the VTrak x30 Series RAID Subsystem. PROMISE VTrak x30 Series RAID subsystems offer flexible configurations including using multiple RAID levels and array groups in the base unit and expansion chassis. Fully redundant 6Gb SAS I/O modules, power supplies, and cooling units ensure data availability for maximum uptime.

The VTrak x30 Series Expansion Chassis expands the capacity of a VTrak x30 Series RAID subsystem while providing the same reliability and performance of the drives in the RAID subsystem unit. Fully redundant I/O modules, power supplies, and cooling units, combined with a cable-less internal system design provide exceptional data availability even during component failures.
With large VTrak deployments worldwide, enterprise users have come to rely on Promise VTrak to protect their valuable data. The Promise VTrak x30 Series RAID subsystem supports attachment of up to seven VTrak x30 Series expansion chassis, providing 384TB of raw capacity using 2TB SATA drives for high-capacity storage applications such as tiered storage, disk-to-disk backup, or archive.
