Screen is Cracked on My Mac, iPod, or iPhone

Unfortunately, a cracked screen is never covered under warranty but some insurance policies and credit cards will cover the repair.

Screen Replacements for Macs

Bring your Mac into Tekserve for a free estimate on a screen repair. Mac display replacement prices vary depending on your Mac's model.

Cracked Screen Workaround for Macs

You can use an external display with most Macs to bypass your cracked screen and continue using the computer. After attaching the display, press F7 on most notebook keyboards to activate the external display.

Tekserve carries a wide range of monitors and every display adapter you might need. You can also rent a display, if you need one temporarily. Alternatively, Tekserve can transfer your data from a computer with a cracked screen to a new Mac or backup your Mac's data to an external hard drive.

Screen Replacements for iPod or iPhone

iPod and iPhone screen replacement prices are available in iPod Repairs.

Cracked Screen Workaround for iPhone

The iPhone has a glass plate over the top of the screen. If you've cracked the glass plate, an iPhone screen protector can hold the glass in place temporarily. Some iPhone cases also include a screen protector. Most iPhone screens get cracked when they aren't protected by a case, so now is probably a good time to pick up an iPhone case.
