Join us for a special evening at Tekserve with Chandler Griffin, Documentary Filmmaker and Director of Barefoot Workshops. Chandler will demonstrate how to create a one-man, professional HDV equipment package to work in a variety of remote locations, all based on his own experiences working here in the U.S. and in Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa and Burundi. Chandler will also show some of his students work as examples of how documentary filmmaking has made a change in their lives and the lives of others.

Instructor

Chandler Griffin

Chandler is a New York City-based, documentary filmmaker and educator, as well as the Founding Director of Barefoot Workshops. He has more than ten years of experience instructing over fourty film and video workshops, starting out at the prestigious International Film & Television Workshops in Maine. His projects have since taken him to Latin America, North America, the UK, Africa, India and the Middle East. He has developed and produced educational programs in northern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, South Africa, Honduras, Jordan, Kuwait, Israel, Palestine, Bahrain and various locations in the USA.
