How do I connect multiple Macs to DSL or a Cable modem?

You can connect an AirPort Base Station or other wireless router to your DSL or cable modem and then use an AirPort/Wi-Fi card in your Mac. If you want to connect more than one computer to a single DSL or cable modem with Ethernet cables, you’ll probably need a router. Many suppliers, such as Verizon, now supply an Ethernet router with AirPort-compatible wireless at no extra charge.
