About Tekserve

Tekserve is New York City's independent Apple Shop, offering sales, service, and good advice since 1987. Our mission is to set you up with the tech you need and to provide helpful support throughout your equipment’s lifespan. With experienced staff members and thousands of products, we provide unique solutions for every type of Apple user.

Tekserve was founded in a living room in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood and continues to thrive on the same block of 23rd Street. Today, the 25,000 square foot store and repair facility serves thousands of Mac users every week. We are the one-stop shop for home technology; professional audio, video and graphics; education; and business solutions.

At Tekserve, you’ll find practical solutions for all your Mac-related projects. We stock a wider variety of Mac configurations, accessories, rentals, and parts than any other local retailer. Since you can’t predict when you’ll need Mac help, we don’t require appointments.

Whether you call, shop online, or visit our store, you’ll notice that shopping at Tekserve is different from any other Apple retailer. Here, your cashier is a personal shopping assistant who will find you all the products you need, answer your questions, and check you out. When you’re ready for a new computer, you can sit down with one of our systems consultants for no-nonsense advice. Tekserve sales staff members aren’t encouraged to sell products you don’t need, so you’ll always get an honest opinion on what works.

For businesses, we offer complete end-to-end solutions from initial infrastructure development to installation and on-site engineering, plus continued support through upgrades and repairs. No matter how large or small your Apple technology needs are, we can help.

Tekserve is locally owned and operated with a deep commitment to the New York City community. Most of our staff members have a background in the arts, which is why we’re able to offer you sound advice about using Macs to create art, music, and video. Tekserve also supports many local cultural and community organizations with in-kind and cash donations.
