About Tekserve

Our business is to provide, maintain, and enhance the best tools of the digital age. Our mission is to do the right thing.

Tekserve is locally owned and operated with a deep commitment to the New York City community. Our original motto, taken from an old Walker Evans photo is “Honest Weights, Square Dealings.” We have the privilege of employing nearly 200 very creative New Yorkers and supporting their work from film to music. Each Tekserve employee may dedicate a paid day off to work for the non-profit of their choice every year.

WNYC, The Public Theatre, American Institute of Graphic Arts, Aids Walk NY, Grand Street Settlement, Lower East Side Ecology Center, Ronald McDonald House Charities, StoryCorps, Charity Water, The Lower Eastside Girls Club, Boys and Girls Village, Greater NY Councils Boy Scouts, Green City Challenge, Harvestworks, Rogosin Institute, Blissful Bedrooms, Tenri Cultural Institute of NY, and numerous others.

Support Requests

Please send support requests to outreach@tekserve.com. Please give us 1-4 weeks to consider your request. You must be a tax-exempt non-profit organization for our consideration. Unfortunately, we have found that we simply don't have the ability to vet and support individual artists and projects.

Tours & Speakers

Tekserve offers tours and lectures to non-profit, professional, and student groups. Recent visitors have included the Lower Eastside Girls Club and Grand Street Settlement’s Computer Clubhouse. If you’d like to give your group a peak into life at Tekserve, email outreach@tekserve.com.

Student Internship Program

Tekserve offers paid summer internships to high school and college students. Interns work in a variety of departments including retail, marketing, human resources, and administration. For more information, please email work@tekserve.com.
